HE CAME, HE SAW, HE CONQUERED…
THE MODERN GOD
He was returning back from work in the suburban train. The compartment was empty.
He was standing near the door and a gentle breeze blew across his face.He was cool, calm, charming.
Just as he was about to alight the train he heard a voice, “Go to the Village!!”
He looked back to see but none was there except his own shadow. But the words were very clear. He alighted the train and His cellphone buzzed. The message read,
“Go to the Village!!”
He looked at it and gave a calm and gentle smile.
He headed home. He was going to the Village. He didn’t know where it was!!
He looked at his cellphone and knew it would be of no avail. His laptop too would be as useful as his cellphone. is credit cards and ATM cards would be worth as much as dry leaves.
He picked the hint and didn’t care to take a thing.
He went with all he was. He was his wealth. No one would know where he went. He said Goodbye to the world he knew.
The last part of his journey was in the bullock cart. From Benz to the bullock cart.
The sun was going through its mundane but refreshing routine of rising.
He looked at a woman carrying water. She looked at Him, His beautiful smile, a clean and calm face and there was a glow about Him. She let herself to be helped by Him.
He had entered their life. He loved all… for he knew none!! They loved him for a reason they didn’t know.
He loved the lush greenery, the beautiful sunrise, the cool water and above all their innocence.
He saw no good or bad. He sympathized and loved the so called bad.
And then one day on interesting dialogue began…
“Who are you?”, they asked.
“I am yet to discover”, he said.
“Where are you from?”
“That I don’t know”
“Where do you want to go?”
“I will go… wherever life takes me or rather wherever I take Life.”
“You loved us all, you nurtured all, you transformed all of us.
And most importantly…
… you taught us how to transform.”
“You must be from the womb of God. Are you God?”
He smiled in return. He allowed them to talk and speculate.
“When is your birthday?”
Silence.
The day he arrived in the village was celebrated as his birthday.
He smiled and they rejoiced. He knew what they didn’t. He rekindled life in the village.
He came, He saw, He conquered, He loved, He lived,
He became… GOD
